I had an appointment this evening on the other side of town, and I debated momentarily whether I should take my camera or not - which is weird thing for me because I take my camera everywhere. My inner photographer won out of course... and I got out of the car, started walking toward the door and I saw it. I thanked every primal force and invoked all of the Gods that exist that I had my camera and my favorite 50mm f2.5 macro lens with me.

Down to the ground I went, amazed at my amazing luck and snapped pics until the shadow on the left (cast by a building) covered up the shadow of the leaf. Amazing serendipity... thanks to whoever and whatever for this addition to my street art series.
